Storm Preparation

It only takes one storm to change your life and community.Tropical cyclones are among nature’s most powerful and destructive phenomena. If you live in an area prone to tropical cyclones, you need to be prepared. Even areas well away from the coastline can be threatened by dangerous flooding, destructive winds and tornadoes from these storms.

For our part-time residents, please consider now how you’ll have your home prepared for a hurricane BEFORE you leave.
– Are objects like furniture and lawn ornaments that might become wind-borne projectiles safely stored away?
– Are items that might collect and hold storm water stored away? (Your neighbors will be grateful for the removal of these common mosquito breeding sites.)
– Do you have a trusted contractor who will put up and take down window storm guards and inspect your property post storm?
– What about storm debris removal?

Please, ensure that your contact information is updated with the HOA.
